North Texas Grass Fires!
The grass fires have been really bad in this area lately so I decided to go check them out first hand! Also visited some old cemeteries and towns on the way.
Wow it has been a while
So I have been so bad about updating! I promise to be better at this…..
Instead of trying to backlog everything from the past few months I am just going to start from my last shoot and try to keep everything updated better!
Decided to head to the square last night and take pictures of the courthouse. I also wanted to mess with photomerge in photoshop and making panoramic photos, so I have one of the square and one of the shed in my backyard.

Shoot with Brenda
I got the pleasure to shoot with Brenda yesterday! It was a lot of fun and my girlfriend Ragan did the makeup and hair.
Engagement Shoot
Shot an engagement today for some friends! Turned out to be a crazy hot Texas day so we had to end it a bit early, but was a lot of fun!
Daily Shoot - :(
Today we found some sort of Nature Trail for the local school district. This was not my cup of tea and the following images show. I guess that is what the daily shoot is about, going out and trying something new you would never do.
NEW SB800
So I finally got a more mobile flash today. Being a Nikon owner I naturally gravitated towards the SB800, the flash is awesome and I am still trying to get use to all the functions and settings. I decided to make my car a practice session with the new flash!

So we went out to that salvage yard only to find “No Trespassing” signs posted everywhere and tons of street traffic. I still managed to get some vehicles towards the side, but did not want to piss anyone off too much.

So headed out to one of my favorite old abandoned docks as the sky was finally interesting enough to play with HDR!
Daily Shoot
I am going to try shooting more during lunch. I want to do it a couple times a week and the idea behind it is just to get better at looking at things in a different way, also trying to improve on color and composition. Most these shots will be without a tripod and lights.
With that said today was a lake near by, nothing really interesting here and lots of litter. On the way back I did find a field with a bunch of abandoned rusty things so that will be my next shoot and make for more interesting subjects.
